You and a friend will be flown out to the Franciacorta circuit in Italy to experience the thrills and spills of the penultimate round of World Rallycross. The Winner was motorsport fan Geoff White from West Sussex and he decided to take his son Ed who is a competitive kart racer.
Geoff, Ed and myself flew to Milan jumped into a hire care and headed to the hotel. The next day we met my man on the ground (Max Coates) and we headed to the track to find the teams prepping cars and revving screaming engines. We were welcomed into the hospitality awning of World Champ Petter Solberg and were invited to join them for lunch.
As huge motorsport fans, Ed and Geoff were delighted to join Max on the grid as he was mounting cameras.
Later that evening Geoff and Ed were joined be Petter Solberg’s team at the Kart Track and Ed got to show his skills behind the wheel and set the fastest time!
As we walking back we were welcomed into Liam Doran’s awning and were handed beers.
The next day witnessed a heavy battle for glory as the supercars jumped, bumped and rolled in the fight for the finish line.
